Do you have a dream?

There is a nostalgic belief
that everyone has purpose
in whatever little things they wish to do

But whatever this belief is
the pure and honest truth is
it does not necessarily apply to you

And I tell you from my heart
that just finding where to start
can be harder than a piece of candy corn

And when you cannot seem to find
the special purpose in your mind
you might find yourself somewhat forlorn

Every single Disney song
might tell you this is wrong
and that you just have to look a little longer

But with every passing day
and try harder as you may
the dreary feeling just keeps getting stronger

It might change with the seasons
for whatever tricky reasons
and all the dreamers stand there looking smug

I don't know if it is needed
so make sure my words are heeded
it is much easier not to give a fuck
